"Enhancing Safety at Night by Visualizing the Unseen" will highlight many LED forward lighting engineering and product selection tradeoffs with focus on key robustness attributes of OSLON® Black Flat’s “lead-frame package” and OSLON® Compact’s “ceramic based packages”. In addition to double digit efficiency gains in the ams OSRAM portfolio, an LED for every application is realized with our heatsinkless headlamp with OSLON® Black Flat X, slim headlamp with OSLON Compact PL and matrix beam headlamp with OSLON® Compact PM design solutions. ams OSRAM’s leading monolithic EVIYOS 2.0 will also be highlighted with full projected visualization utilizing its 25,600 pixels per light source and rendering a visualization and illumination experience.

Michael Godwin is Director, Automotive LED Marketing for ams OSRAM. Mr. Godwin’s focus is on the automotive exterior and interior LED marketing and business development in the North American region. Prior to this position, Mr. Godwin has held various positions including Interior Automotive Marketing in Regensburg, Germany, and Business Development, General Marketing Manager and Product Marketing Manager in Michigan.

LED Applications Key Expert at ams OSRAM
Joe Jablonski is an LED Applications Key Expert for ams OSRAM. Joe has been working with LEDs for the past 25 years and has a strong technical background in new product design and development. His experience includes Transportation interior and exterior lighting as well as consumer electronics lighting. Prior to joining ams OSRAM in 2006 Joe was an Electronic Design Engineer, Display Specialist, and Program Manager in automotive product development with Continental (formerly Siemens VDO).
