Title: Automotive Interior is Colorful – Categorizing various Light source Solutions for RGB Applications

Abstract: Ambient lighting with the integration of color adjustable lighting is a design trend of the automotive interior for many vehicles and manufacturers. To follow the trend, different light source solutions are available and on the roadmap for future use. The system designers can choose from a wide range of products, ranging from standard RGB to highly sophisticated intelligent LEDs. Title: Overhead Light Console for high-quality and individual interior lighting

Abstract: Finely tuned, interactive interior lighting plays a significant role in creating high-quality ambience and comfort in the passenger cell of a vehicle. To offer more creativity in this area, ams OSRAM Automotive Lighting Systems (AMLS) presents a new Overhead Light Console that combines advanced interior lighting features with an elegant design with following main functions:

  • Adjustable matrix LED spots for pleasant and flexible lighting
  • A static, semi-dynamic or digital projector for displaying individual motifs on various surfaces
  • Integrated animations that match the design of the decor and adapt to different vehicle interactions
  • A fully integrated capacitive touch sensor for a seamless user interface
