QOD LED lamp family from OSRAM welcomes a new member

QOD S, M, L

Modular combinations now possible thanks to new product versions of the light tiles

The square QOD LED lamp family from OSRAM has gained a new member. Available hitherto as elegant white downlights, the light tiles now are being launched in an exclusive chrome look. The sizes have been revised, too. Formerly only produced in the size "Small" (S), QODs are now also available in "Medium" (M) and "Large" (L). The QOD domino light strip, a rectangular version, completes the flexible, modular LED lamp family.

Individual lighting ideas are easier to implement than ever before with the extended QOD product family: apart from the small, 7-x-7-cm QODs in the size "Small", the LED tiles are now available in the sizes "Medium" (15.5 x 15.5 cm) and "Large" (22 x 22 cm). Up to now, QODs have been used for spotlighting in shelves, kitchens or wardrobes. Now, in the new sizes, they are particularly suitable for use as ceiling or wall luminaires, too. Their slimline form makes them simple to install in places where it would be too complicated to install ordinary lamps, such as in sloping ceilings. The luminaires are on sale in retail stores for a recommended price of 49 euros for the QOD S, 119 euros for the QOD M and 199 euros for the QOD L.

The new, chrome-colored housings of the QOD luminaires lend an exclusive touch to any living space. The flexible downlights from OSRAM are still fitted with 16 warm-white high-performance LEDs and can be quickly installed practically anywhere thanks to their low height of just 8 mm. What's more, the QOD tiles still boast a long service life of 30,000 hours, guaranteeing that this energy-efficient LED light will offer lasting pleasure. The QOD is available at retail stores in the new chrome color for a recommended price of around 99 euros.

Compact LED light strips in an innovative design: QOD Domino

Comprised within the LED luminaire family, the QOD domino light strips are flat and elegant luminaires, available in three different outputs and two different lengths: The 33-cm-long version, QOD Domino "Short", is available with two or three groups of 16 LEDs. They are ideal for use in lighting alcoves and display cabinets or for lighting shelves or wardrobes. The 50-cm-long QOD Domino "Long" luminaires are fitted with either three or five groups of 16 LEDs and are eminently suitable for under-lighting kitchen work surfaces or illuminating other work surfaces. QOD Dominos are available in stores for a recommended price of between 99 and 169 euros, depending on the type.

The QOD product family – Versatile and energy-efficient

As in the past, the individual modules of the QOD product family can be glued on or screwed on and connected with each another. The new shapes and sizes offer almost unlimited creative freedom. All members of the OSRAM QOD family have one thing in common: the advantages of modern LED lighting. Their winning features include a brilliant light quality with barely perceptible heat radiation and high energy efficiency. Using reliable and durable LED technology, there is no need to change lamps.
