ams AS5147U - High Resolution Rotary Position Sensor
The AS5147U is a high-resolution redundant rotary position sensor for fast absolute angle measurement over a full 360-degree range. This position sensor is equipped with a revolutionary integrated dynamic angle error compensation (DAEC™) with almost 0 latency at higher rotational speed. For increased signal quality at lower rotational speed, the dynamic filter system (DFS™) reduces transition noise. The robust design of the device suppresses the influence of any homogenous external stray magnetic field. A standard 4-wire SPI serial interface with a CRC protection allows a host microcontroller to read 14-bit absolute angle position data from the AS5147U and to program non-volatile settings without a dedicated programmer. Incremental movements are indicated on a set of ABI signals with a maximum resolution of 16989 steps / 4096 pulses per revolution. Brushless DC (BLDC) motors are controlled through a standard UVW commutation interface with a programmable number of pole pairs from 1 to 7. The absolute angle position is also provided as PWM-encoded output signal. The AS5147U supports embedded self-diagnostics for fulfilling up to ASIL D in safety relevant applications. ams AS5200L Magnetic Rotary Position Sensor
The AS5200L is an easy to program stacked dual die magnetic rotary position sensor with a high-resolution 12-bit I2C or PWM output. This contactless system measures the absolute angle of a diametric magnetized on-axis magnet. This AS5200L is designed for contactless potentiometer applications and its robust design eliminates the influence of any homogenous external stray magnetic fields. The industry-standard I2C interface supports simple user programming of non-volatile parameters without requiring a dedicated programmer. By default the output represents a range from 0 to 360 degrees. It is also possible to define a smaller range to the output by programming a zero angle (start position) and a maximum angle (stop position). The AS5200L is also equipped with a smart low power mode feature to automatically reduce the power consumption. This device is designed for automotive applications and is AEC-Q100 grade 1 qualified. ams AS5116 Position Sensor Sin/Cos Output
The AS5116 is a contactless magnetic position sensor for accurate angular measurement over a full mechanical turn of 360°. Based on the Hall sensor technology, this device has a robust architecture that measures the orthogonal component of the flux density (Bz), over a full-turn rotation. To measure the angle, only a simple two-pole magnet rotating over the center of the package is required. The magnet can be placed above or below the device.The absolute angle measurement provides an instant indication of the magnet’s angular position. The angle information is provided by means of buffered differential sine and cosine voltages. The AS5116 operates at a supply voltage of 5V or 3.3V. The AS5116A is a preprogrammed version of AS5116. It has fixed settings and need no further programming. ams AS5715R inductive motor control position sensor
The inductive motor control position sensor detects the electrical position within one pole-pair of a rotating shaft and can be used for the motor commutation of a brushless DC (BLDC) motor. Based on the inductive sensor technology, this family measures the coupling between an excitation coil (TX) and two receiver coils (RX) via a rotating target. The coils are executed as printed circuit coils and the rotating target is a simple punched metal part. With the correct layout of the coils and the target, both synchronized to the number of pole-pair count of the motor, the IC output is proportional to the electrical angular position within one pole-pair segment with increased resolution and high performance of only 0.3° electrical INL! Due to its flexibility, easy adaption and low overall system costs, this family acts as the perfect resolver replacement and can be used for on-axis as well off-axis applications!
