Presenter: Stefan Groetsch - Director Hard- & Software Development
Title: “Open System Protocol (OSP) enables innovation for Dynamic Light Applications and more”
Date and Time: Wednesday, February 19th, 2:30pm

The Open System Protocol (OSP) serves challenging dynamic lighting applications such as automotive interior ambient scenes. In addition to stable signal transmission both on and off board, the approach now also covers additional I²C devices and discrete LEDs.

Presenter: Markus Hofmann - System Solution Engineer

Title: "Simplified HD matrix system"
Date and Time: Thursday, February 20th, 9am

The success of HD matrix systems in automotive headlamps is based on the development of Micro LED pixel emitter arrays. With their high resolution and a pixel count of up to 25600 pixels, these LEDs enable both high resolution ADB and signal projection on the road. In order to make HD Matrix systems more accessible to a broader market, further simplification is necessary.

Presenter: Stefan Herold – Senior Business Development Manager
Title: “Standardized LED light sources to realize simplicity and sustainability across multiple car models”
Date and Time: Thursday, February 20th, 3:15pm

In 07/2024 DVN described the challenges regarding circular design in vehicle lighting. ECE regulated LED light sources benefit from economy of scale effects regarding cost and reliability. Moreover they offer serviceability, which helps to overcome some of the described issues on separation of materials, reuse of components and refurbishing of RCL's or headlamps - and support even with the warranty question.
