SMARTLED Pure is a completely new product class for ams OSRAM. The device 0201 is built for tight integration, with a footprint of 0.6 × 0.3 mm that supports sleek product designs across industries.

One of its most distinctive features is a batwing-shaped radiation pattern. This optical design allows engineers to place diffusers closer to the LED without creating hotspots — enabling thinner device profiles and more flexibility in mechanical layout.

Customers can cluster multiple units to create miniLED-like effects, supporting both classic and advanced visual communication.

The LED comes in a full set of single‑color variants — white, true green, red and blue — each engineered for balanced output and a wide viewing angle of up to 165°, providing strong visibility even at shallow angles.
