ams USB-I-P-BOX_EVM_AC Evaluation accessory
The USB Interface & Programmer Box is an universal evaluation tool for magnetic position sensors with I2C or SPI interface. It comes with a 10-way cable to connect to a supported product on an existing board. The I2C or SPI wires are used for the communication (3.3V mode) and additionally the sensor can be powered from the USB I&P Box. By using the USB I&P Box Software, it is possible to read out the sensor data, write a configuration and to permanently program a configuration.
Hardware and Software requirements: PC with Windows 7 or later and a USB-A port
ams AS621X_DEM_MO Demonstrator kit
The AS621x demo kit offers an easy-to-use exploration of the ams digital temperature sensor. It is Bluetooth enabled to communicate with your device. By downloading the companion app from the App Store or Google Play Store it is possible to modify all settings of the sensor and observe the impact on power consumption and conversion rate. All three demos could be paired up at the same time to find the optimal settings for your needs. It even enables to record a temperature sequence to compare it with different settings of the temperature sensor demo. Finally, the app does provide basic information about the product and helps to understand the principals of the alert mode.
The demo kit consists of an AS621x temperature button and a CR2023 coin cell. By pulling the flap, the demo is enabled and ready to be paired with the app.

ams AS621X_EVM_SN Evaluation kit
The AS621x Eval Kit is a simple PCB to enable an easy evaluation of the ams digital temperature sensor. The board features an AS621x digital temperature sensor, a decoupling capacitor and pull-up resistors. The included jumpers are an easy way of setting the eight I²C addresses of the sensor. A 5x1 pin header with a 2.54mm pitch offers all necessary interfaces to connect the adapterboard to your application processor.

The AS6204 is a complete digital sensor system, designed for the needs of high-performance consumer electronics. It is based on the well-proven AS6200 design, but with additional I²C addresses to serve complex design needs. This is especially useful in the prototyping phase of a product where several heat sensitive areas might need monitoring but without needing to reserve additional systems application processor resources. The AS6204 is a fully calibrated and linearized sensor system that is easy to integrate in any digital system. It provides a resolution of 12 bit over the wide temperature range from -40°C to 125°C. ams AS6221 Temperature Sensor
The AS6221 is a high accurate digital temperature sensor with an accuracy of up to ±0.09°C, which is ideal for healthcare applications, wearables and devices requiring high-performance thermal information.
The AS6221, is a complete digital sensor system, requires no calibration or linearization. It provides measurement outputs via a standard I²C interface. The sensor supports eight I²C addresses avoiding bus conflicts in multi-sensor use cases.
The ultra-small size of the sensor (WLCSP 1.5 mm x 1.0 mm) enables accurate body/skin temperature measurements in very small health and lifestyle monitoring products.
In addition to the high accuracy and the small form factor, the AS6221 offers a very low power consumption, for example measuring with 4 samples/s, the current consumption is only 6 µA. The sensor has 4 different automatic acquisition modes and keeps the high accuracy over the full supply range from 1.71 to 3.6 V.
An integrated alert functionality triggers an interrupt to the micro controller when a temperature threshold is exceeded. The temperature threshold for the alert function can be adjusted in a device register.The AS6221 production test setup is calibrated according NIST and the verification equipment is calibrated by an ISO/IEC-17025 accredited laboratory.
