The supervisory board of OSRAM Licht AG today appointed Dr. Stefan Kampmann
as member of the managing board and Chief Technology Officer with effect
from July 1, 2016. In his future role as Chief Technology Officer, Dr.
Kampmann will be in charge of research and development as well as
technology and innovation. He will also be responsible for cross-divisional
functions such as quality management. The supervisory board has also
decided, for reasons of differing views regarding the strategic direction
of the company and in best mutual agreement with Dr. Klaus Patzak, to
launch a structured process to find a successor for the position of Chief
Financial Officer. Until the supervisory board has decided on a successor
and a mutual agreement has been reached on the termination of his contract,
Dr. Patzak will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer.
