It is pin compatible with older Belago variants and offering higher maximum power in addition to 3x higher dot density.<br>BELAGO1.2 is following the high-quality standards of ams OSRAM offering a reliable solution for demanding environments.<br>The compact dot-projector for stereoscopic imaging is optimized for active stereo vision and structured light systems. With 15k dots in a pseudo-random pattern high-contrast and high-density dot pattern is achieved. The small footprint allows for an easy integration in mobile platforms and offers the the perfect power/size ratio. The high optical efficiency as well as the high VCSEL efficiency contribute to a low power consumption on system level.<br>With the built-in eye safety interlock feature it facilitates the implementation on system level.<br>3D sensing, 3D imaging, Machine Vision and Access Control are the main applications.

It enables force and touch detection on virtually any surface—including wet, gloved, or thick/stiff materials—making it ideal for next-generation human-machine interfaces.<br>With high displacement resolution (<1µm), ultra-low noise, and flexible connectivity to a variety of optical frontends (OFEs), the AS7150 is the core of discrete force sensing solutions for applications where size and power efficiency are critical. This product is part of our Optical Force family.

ams AS7331 Spectral UV Sensor
|
<div>The AS7331 is a low-power, low noise integrated UV sensor. The three separated UVA, UVB and UVC channels convert optical radiation signals via UV optimized photodiodes to a digital result and realize a continuous or triggered measurement. The irradiance responsivity can be adjusted via Gain, conversion time and internal clock frequency to effect sensitivity, full scale range and LSB. The by the AS7331 detected amount of radiation in the set Gain and conversion time configuration will be provided as digital counts by the AS7331. The AS7331 offers a range of 12 Gain steps by a factor of two for each step. The conversion time is internally controlled over a wide range of 15 steps by a factor of two for each step. With the input pin (SYN), the conversion time can be externally controlled to adapt the measurement to the given environment and time base.</div><div>With its irradiance responsivity factor and conversion time, the AS7331 supports an overall huge dynamic range up to 3.43E+10 (resolution multiplied by gain range). It achieves an accuracy of up to 24-bit signal resolution (internal via I²C and shifter 16-bit), with an irradiance responsivity per count down to 2.38 nW/cm² at 64 ms integration time. Via an integrated divider, the 16-bit I²C output can be adjusted to the significant bits of interest.</div>

Mira016 is a compact 0.16MP Near IR enhanced global shutter image sensor designed for 2D and 3D consumer and industrial machine vision applications. The sensor has a small 2.79 µm pixel size with high sensitivity made possible by a state of the art BSI technology. The sensor has a MIPI CSI-2 interface to allow easy interfacing with a plethora of processors and FPGAs. With its small 1.8mm x 1.8mm size, configurability and high sensitivity both in visual as well as NIR wavelengths, the Mira016 is well suited for many 2D and 3D applications, including eye tracking in ARVR. Low active power and high sensitivity in NIR enables increased measurement range as well as overall system power consumption optimization which is key for battery powered consumer and industrial applications.

ams AS1170 2-channel LED and VCSEL driver IC
|
The AS1170 is a 2-channel LED/VCSEL driver with integrated boost converter. It can support up to 5.5V output voltage and each channel can support 1000mA output current. Currents can be combined to a total of 2000mA and adjusted using 31.25kHz PWM operation. AS1170 features integrated protection functions against overtemperature, over- or under voltage and open of shorted LED pins. The device has an I2C interface with 2 adresses, selectable via an I2C select pin. The 13 balls WLCSP makes this chip a good fit wherever high output currents and a tiny footprint are needed.

Mira050 is a compact 0.5 MP Near IR enhanced global shutter image sensor designed for 2D and 3D consumer and industrial machine vision applications. The sensor has a small 2.79 µm pixel size with high sensitivity made possible by a state of the art BSI technology. The TMF8701 is a true direct time-of-flight (ToF) sensor system in a single modular package which offers highly accurate depth accuracy detection through a sub-nanosecond light pulse and an antialiasing “stop-watch” method to measure round-trip time of pulse. It provides single zone detection of an object irrespective of the color, reflectivity and texture of the object.<br/><br/>The single module with VCSEL emitter offers high dynamic range and operates in either a proximity mode (0 – 10 cm) or a ranging mode (10 – 60 cm) for detection sensing. The device utilizes highly sensitive SPAD detection with fast compact time-to digital converters to make high accurate distance measurement within ±5% and is capable of operation in dark environments.<br/><br/> A built-in histogram is featured to detect cover glass and objects behind glass to select object with highest SNR while compensating for dirt and smudges on cover glass to produce artifact free measurement of multiple objects. The histogram enables greater distance between cover glass, delivers dynamic cover glass calibration and crosstalk compensation. Class 1 eye safety is also featured through the narrow sub-nanosecond (<500 ps) fast pulse 940 nm VCSEL driver. Background light noise is minimized through on-chip superior sunlight rejection filter. The device utilizes highly sensitive SPAD detection with fast compact time-to digital converters to make highly accurate distance measurements within ±5% and is capable of operation in dark environments and in the presence of sunlight. A built-in histogram is featured to detect cover glass and reports an object distances operating with the highest SNR while compensating for dirt and smudges contaminants on a products cover glass to produce artifact free measurement. The histogram delivers dynamic cover glass calibration and crosstalk compensation and background light noise is minimized through on-chip sunlight rejection filters. Data output is through a 1.8V I²C fast-mode communications interface and an integrated micro controller is featured with all algorithms included on-chip with no need for external optics.

The TMF8829 is a direct time-of-flight (dToF) sensor with configurable resolution of 8x8, 16x16, 32x32 & 48x32. The device is based on SPAD, TDC, and histogram technology and achieves a detection range of up to 11000 mm with an 80° field of view. <br><br>All processing of the raw data is performed on-chip, and the TMF8829 provides distance information along with confidence values, signal amplitude, and ambient light on its interface. Internally, the TMF8829 uses dToF histograms and peak detection, and therefore, it is highly tolerant to smudges on the cover glass. Additionally, the TMF8829 can handle multiple objects per depth point simultaneously without degrading accuracy. It reports the distance of all depth points with a resolution of 0.25 mm. <br><br>The device uses an I3C (I²C compatible) communication interface and a fully featured SPI interface for control and raw data streaming. A VBUS supply pin allows operation of the I²C/I3C or SPI with 1.2V, 1.8V, or 3V I/O supplies. Raw data streaming, including all algorithm peak detection results, allows further processing on the host for “AI-enabled” applications. <br><br>The TMF8829 is a fully contained optical module measuring only 5.7 mm x 2.9 mm x 1.5 mm.
