Munich, 08/11/2016

Based on today's deliberations, the management board and the supervisory
board of OSRAM Licht AG (OSRAM) intend to propose a dividend payment of
EUR 1.00 per share for the financial year 2016 to the annual shareholder
meeting on February 14, 2017. That corresponds to an increase of 11.1
percent compared to previous year's dividend of EUR 0.90 per share.

Preliminary results for the 4th quarter 2016 will be released on Wednesday,
November 9, 2016, as previously announced.
