The OSLON® Black Flat X is part of ams OSRAM’s successful OSLON® Black Flat brand family, designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of automotive exterior applications. It is known as the first surface-mount technology (SMT) LED brand for forward lighting enabling mass-market adoption to mid segments – a target market that was unaffordable to reach with conventional technology. The OSLON Black Flat X offers LED devices with the highest efficiency in the ams OSRAM LED portfolio. This makes it the perfect light source for standard forward lighting applications where system cost is a major consideration. The SMT device is stable, durable, and can be used with standard processes. The pad geometry of the widely used OSLON® Black Flat product platform was further optimized to allow for excellent thermal conditions, while the established, outstanding contrast of the package concept is a family feature.
