ams to be included in SMIM® index of 30 largest Swiss-listed mid-cap stocks outside of SMI®

Unterpremstaetten, Austria (10 July 2013) - ams (SIX: AMS), a leading provider of high performance analog ICs and sensors, announces that the ams share will be included in the SMIM^® index comprising the 30 largest mid-cap stocks in the Swiss equity market that are not included in the SMI^® index.

The Index Commission of SIX Swiss Exchange has informed ams that the ams share will be admitted to the SMIM^® index effective September 23, 2013 as part of the ordinary index review.
