Clemens Hofmann, Senior Key Principal Engineer LiDAR, ams-OSRAM International GmbH
Clemens Hofmann is Senior Principal Engineer for LiDAR Applications at ams OSRAM with a 15 year background in LEDs and lasers. He has global experience in the automotive, industry and consumer fields, including development, analytics, metrology, technical sourcing, and application support. Since 2019, he is globally taking care about technical topics in automotive and industrial LiDAR at ams OSRAM. Clemens holds various degrees in physics from Delft, Tübingen, and Exeter University and was fellow of the “Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes.” He did his PhD in Bayreuth, for which he was awarded by the Emil-Warburg Stiftung.
