Watch our on-demand webinars about capacitive sensing technology empowering hands-on detection

United Nations Regulation 79 requires hands-on detection (HoD) in all new cars with Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). Already adopted by the EU for new production vehicles from 1 April 2021, this becomes key to reliability and safety for ADAS. By implementing ams OSRAM novel capacitive sensors in HoD applications that cannot be ‘fooled’, car manufacturers attain the highest standards of safety, with a simple, single-component solution, at a comparatively low system cost. The webinar will explain why alongside comparable technologies. This online webinar will introduce HoD technologies, explain the principles behind them, and will compare ams' solutions to similar technologies, and elaborate on ams OSRAM HoD solutions' advantages. Learn more about ams OSRAM automotive key technologies and solutions.
