Join our presentation about water disinfection with UV-C LEDs and sensors

Abstract
LEDs have inherent advantages over UV-C lamps, such as size and instant on/off switching, enabling them to be used in new water disinfection applications.  They are also well positioned to replace lamps in existing applications over time.  This presentation will discuss the current state of UV-C LED and sensor technology, and the roadmap for the next few years.  Several use cases will be presented showing how LEDs can be used in new ways which are not possible with lamps. Additional cases will show how LEDs could be used to replace lamps today and in the near future. Integration of UV-C sensors into these applications will be shown throughout.

Marc Dyble, Sr. Product Marketing Manager at ams OSRAM

Marc Dyble is a Senior Product Marketing Manager in the Illumination product line with ams OSRAM, focused on the growth and development of UV, horticulture and human centric lighting applications. Mr. Dyble is responsible for both product and marketing strategies for the North American market. Prior to his current position he has held roles in sales and application engineering in the general lighting segment, supporting design development and customer applications.

Mr. Dyble holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Science in Lighting, specializing in Solid State Lighting, from the Lighting Research Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Dyble also earned his lighting certification through the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) and is on the Board of Managers of the Detroit section of IESNA.
