The 25th Shanghai DVN Workshop

The 25th DVN workshop under the theme “Innovations for new Lighting Functions” will feature 25 presentations focusing on the latest trends in lighting and brand recognition. Discussion panels and exhibition booths will host fruitful exchanges between all attendees.

Speech Topic 1: Lights for Automotive Exterior Carbody

With the speed up of automotive lighting innovation, there are more and more new applications of exterior carbody light. This presentation shows a summary and the trends exterior carbody lighting.  Advice and suggestions are given based on the existing or developing products from ams OSRAM.

Speaker: Kimi Chen, Senior System Solution Engineer Manager

Kimi joined OSRAM in 2015, leading the technical support team in the Asia-Pacific region to provide customers with professional LED technology application support. Before joining OSRAM, he worked in a global automotive lighting manufacturer and has ten years of experience in the design and management of automotive exterior lighting.

• Limitations of traditional sensing technology in automotive interior
• Advantages of ams OSRAM's unique capacitive sensing technology
• Application of multi-level contact and non-contact sensing in vehicles

Speaker: Morris Li, Field Application Manager

Morris Li has more than 20 years of experience in technical support work. He served as technical support for automobiles and related products at ams OSRAM and is currently responsible for the application of semiconductor sensor components, optical devices and VCSEL LiDAR light source products. He participated in the development of many automotive electronic intelligence and autonomous driving projects and has rich project application experience.
