Shanghai, China [Augest, 12, 2024] - ams OSRAM (SIX: AMS), a global leader in intelligent sensors and emitters, has launched a China Development Center (CDC), aimed at driving business growth and technological innovation within Greater China. The CDC organization is part of the CMOS, Sensors and ASIC (CSA) business unit of the ams OSRAM Group, with technical support and system solution development as its core, combines experts on product marketing, system solution engineering, application engineering and supply chain innovation, and it is vital for boosting business development and revenue growth in Greater China.

Business Development - Market execution and technical product marketing support. The team will keep a close eye on market trends, devise go-to-market strategies, and offer technical support to the sales team to drive market growth.

Application Engineering - Providing technical support to customers, including hardware and advanced algorithms and AI to meet market needs, such as demonstration platforms and reference designs. 

Supply Chain Innovation - Enhancing partnerships with local suppliers and optimizing supply chain management to boost flexibility and responsiveness.
