The AS621x family is a complete digital sensor system, designed for the needs of various markets. It features 8 I²C addresses to serve complex design needs. This is especially useful in the prototyping phase of a product where several heat sensitive areas might need monitoring but without needing to reserve additional systems application processor resources. It is a fully calibrated and linearized sensor system that is easy to integrate in any digital system. The family has 3 members (AS6212, AS6214 & AS6218) with different temperature accuracies to give customers the best option for their needs. The highest performing AS6212 has an accuracy of +/- 0.2°C from -10°C to 65 °C. It provides a resolution of 16 bit over the wide temperature range from -40°C to 125°C. The integrated alarm functionality enables micro-controller wake-up calls on defined temperature thresholds. An internal voltage regulator allows stable accuracy independent of the supply voltage between 1.71V to 3.6V. For powersensitive applications, the device can enter a low-power wait mode with 0.1μA current consumption.The AS6212, AS6214 and AS6218 production test setup is calibrated according NIST and the verification equipment is calibrated by an ISO/IEC-17025 accredited laboratory.。 More information about Longevity Program

The AS6219 IC is a high accuracy digital temperature sensor system that communicates via a 2-wire digital bus with other devices. It consists of a Si bandgap temperature sensor, an ADC and a digital signal processor. The high temperature accuracy and an ultra-low power consumption (low operation and quiescent current) makes the AS6219 ideally suited for mobile/battery powered applications. The AS6219 is an easy to integrate and use solution, featuring a factory-calibrated sensor, integrated linearization and the possibility to use 8 different I²C addresses, enabling to use eight AS6219 devices on one bus. Additionally, the AS6219 temperature sensor system features an alert functionality, which triggers e.g. an interrupt to protect devices from excessive temperatures.
