Beschreibung

The AS5116 Adapter Board is a small PCB allowing simple and quick testing or evaluation of the AS5116 magnetic position sensor without the need to build a test fixture or design an own PCB. The PCB can be connected either to an external microcontroller or to the USB I&P Box.

The connector, 2x5 pin header (not populated), is included to this kit and is required for power supply as well as UART and analog interface.

The USB Interface & Programmer Box is an universal evaluation tool for magnetic position sensors with I2C or SPI interface. It comes with a 10-way cable to connect to a supported product on an existing board. The I2C or SPI wires are used for the communication (3.3V mode) and additionally the sensor can be powered from the USB I&P Box. By using the USB I&P Box Software, it is possible to read out the sensor data, write a configuration and to permanently program a configuration. Hardware and Software requirements: PC with Windows 7 or later and a USB-A port
