ams AS7160 Optical Force Sensing - Analog Frontend

The AS7160 is ams OSRAM's highest-performance optical force-sensing front-end, that combines dual 20-bit optical measurement channels, integrated ambient-light compensation, flexible LED/photodiode control, VCSEL support, and ultra-low-power autonomous operation, making it ideal for advanced next-generation smart surfaces in the industrial, medical and consumer space. This product is part of our Optical Force family and is intended to be used with our SFH 706x family of Optical Front Ends. It enables next-generation optical user interfaces by combining ultra-low-power, micrometer-level force sensing with highly sensitive proximity detection.
