Aldo Kamper

Aldo Kamper is the Chief Executive Officer, ams OSRAM, and Chairman of the
company 's Management Board, appointed to the role in 2023.

Aldo Kamper started his career in 1994 at OSRAM in Regensburg, Germany and held various senior leadership positions in Europe and the United States for visible LED and specialty lighting. In 2010, he took on the role of President and CEO of the Opto Semiconductors business unit. During his tenure, he pioneered the development of microLED technology, dynamic forward lighting and LED performance roadmaps for new applications such as horticulture lighting.

Prior to joining ams OSRAM, Aldo was the President and CEO of Leoni AG, a global
provider of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry, a role he assumed in 2018.

Aldo studied Business Administration in Maastricht (Netherlands) and Trier and holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University. He is a citizen of the Netherlands.
