Jens Milnikel

Since 2023, Jens Milnikel has been Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Business Unit CMOS Sensors and ASICs and member of the company’s Executive Committee.

He has more than 20 years of experience in various management positions in Germany and abroad in the areas of semiconductor/electrical engineering, photovoltaics and lighting. In addition, he has extensive expertise in the areas of strategy development and restructuring from his activities at leading management consultancies. 

After several years at Roland Berger Strategy Consulting, Jens joined Infineon Technologies in 2001, holding several management positions. With the photovoltaic industry on the rise, he moved to an international building material conglomerate. As managing director, Jens established and expanded the global solar business within this company. In 2013 Jens joined Philips Lighting, where he shaped the system and service business as well as the transition from conventional to LED lighting. 

Jens joined the OSRAM Group in 2019 as Senior Vice President, growing the Business Line Illumination. In 2022 he became General Manager of the Business Unit Image Sensor Solutions as part of the ams OSRAM Group executive team, before taking his current position. 

Jens holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Karlsruhe Technical University.
