Rainer Irle

Rainer Irle is Chief Financial Officer of ams OSRAM since July 1, 2023. He was
appointed to the role in March 2023 by the ams OSRAM Supervisory Board.

A long-time veteran of the semiconductor industry, Rainer joins ams OSRAM from Siltronic AG where he held the post of CFO since 2013. Previously, he held various finance executive management roles within Siltronic and Wacker Chemie AG. Rainer was instrumental in establishing Siltronic, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of hyperpure silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry, as a listed company in the German MDax.

Rainer Irle started his career with A.T. Kearney and Deutsche Bank and holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden and a Business Administration and Engineering diploma from Siegen University.
