We take environmental considerations into account in our business operations and continue to develop appropriate measures and requirements for our products and processes.

Environmental Management

We have set up a corporate EHS policy in order to integrate environmental issues into the overall management on a corporate-wide level. 

The structure of the guideline is in line with the following internationally recognized management system standards:
ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
ISO 50001 – Energy Management System (for locations within EU)

Energy Efficiency Law EnEfG (Germany)

We created the necessary organization for these industry standards and a comprehensive system for environmental management.

Climate

As an industrial company, we use energy and resources and generate associated emissions. We take these impacts into account in our business operations and in the further development of our strategy.

Climate protection and resource efficiency are integral parts of our operational management. To this end, OSRAM defines specific goals and measures, including alignment with the 1.5-degree target and the goal of gradually advancing its own operational activities in a climate-conscious manner by 2030.

The underlying assumptions, measures, and progress are transparently presented in the Sustainability Report, particularly in the ESRS E1 section (Climate Change).
