Society

Employees and business partners are a central part of ams OSRAM’s business operations. Issues such as working conditions, health, and safety are taken into account as part of the company’s management framework.

In addition, the company also considers relevant environmental and social issues beyond its own organization, particularly along the value chain.

Human Rights and Supply Chain Due Diligence Obligations

As a global company, respect for human rights plays a central role in our collaboration with business partners and suppliers, as well as in the working conditions of our employees. We respect and support the human rights recognized by the international community (including environmental protection) throughout our value chain. We embrace our responsibility by continuously integrating the universality of human rights into our policies, systems, and processes as part of our human rights and environmental due diligence obligations.

Potential risks and violations of our principles regarding human rights, labor conditions, and environmental protection, both in our own business area and at our suppliers, can be reported via the “Tell ams OSRAM” whistleblower system.

Further information on our activities in the areas of human rights, the environment and supply chain due diligence can be found in our sustainability reporting on our website.
