Jan-Peter Schwartz heads communications at Osram
Effective October 1, 2014 Jan-Peter Schwartz will assume responsibility as Head of worldwide External and Internal Communications and as Chief Sustainability Officer at Osram. In this function he will report to Wolfgang Dehen, Chief Executive Officer of Osram.
Before joining Osram, the former business journalist (TV/ radio at WDR) and agency founder Jan-Peter Schwartz, was in charge of Global Communications for the Siemens Energy Sector. Before that Jan-Peter Schwartz had been working in various positions at the energy provider RWE, last as Deputy Head of Corporate Communications.
As Head of Communications, Dr. Constantin Birnstiel has lead Osram very successfully on the way to become a publicly listed company. We thank him very much for his support. He will leave the company by mutual agreement to take on new responsibilities.
