Powerful LED floodlight with 80 percent higher energy efficiency

Kreios FL

Osram announces a new member of the Kreios family, the FLx floodlight

The Kreios family from Osram, a collection of efficient LED luminaires for the entertainment sector, delivers a wide variety of creative indoor and outdoor lighting solutions. The powerful product family, consisting of the Kreios G1 LED image projector and the robust and versatile Kreios SL, Kreios PAR, and Kreios FL luminaires, now has a new member: Kreios FLx. This impressive new floodlight offers high light output, energy efficiency, and dimmability.

The new, powerful Kreios FLx LED floodlight is suitable for a wide range of applications in the entertainment sector, wherever large areas need to be efficiently illuminated. With a brightness of 5000 lumen, an output of 90 W, and very good color rendering, it provides optimum illumination for theaters, event locations, and multipurpose halls. Its filter frame makes it quick and easy to change filters so light achieves a desired color and intensity. In contrast to its predecessor, Kreios FLx can be dimmed. This robust LED floodlight is protected against splash water (IP65) so it can be used in indoor and outdoor applications. Its energy consumption is up to 80 percent lower than standard halogen luminaires. Kreios FLx will be available in summer 2015.

Kreios FL: Powerful light for large areas

At 60 W, Kreios FL, the predecessor of Kreios FLx, provides efficient illumination of large areas. With a color temperature of 3200 K, a luminous flux of 3000 lumen, and a CRI of more than 95, it offers excellent color rendering – a factor determining how genuine scenery appears. Kreios FL is used primarily in theater and architecture lighting, outdoor park lighting, and security lighting. Its IP65 design ensures complete protection against dust, contact, and jets of water from any angle.

Kreios G1: Compact and lightweight for LED image projection

Kreios G1, a lightweight gobo projector, suits numerous applications in retail outlets, museums, art galleries, trade fairs, bars, and restaurants. It projects brand names, logos, and other messages onto walls, floors, and objects with the aid of standard or individually-designed gobos. The particular benefits of Kreios G1 are high brightness and precision sharpness of projected images. Thanks to its compact dimensions and lightweight design, the projector is quick and easy to install, rendering it ideal for applications that require frequent mounting and unmounting. Kreios G1 includes two gobo holders which enable the images to be changed quickly.

Kreios SL: Versatility, long life, and innovative cooling

Kreios SL puts objects in the right light. This LED spotlight delivers zoomable light for trade fairs, exhibitions, events, stage shows, and TV studio productions. With an output of 3000 lumen, Kreios SL is ideal for bathing trade fair booths – or entire events – in bright light. Thanks to an LED life of 30,000 hours, a high color rendering index (Ra ≥ 95), noiseless cooling technology, and compact design, this LED spotlight is perfectly-equipped for continuous operation in professional settings.

Kreios PAR: Powerful lighting for indoors and outdoors

Kreios PAR, an extremely bright luminaire with luminous flex values of up to 4200 lumen, illuminates large areas, such as building facades and concert stages, with ease. Its passive cooling system silently removes the heat, enabling the spotlight to be placed virtually anywhere. For optimum results, Kreios PAR offers up to 16.7 million colors and RGB or RGBW color mixing. It can be dimmed from 100 percent to 0 percent and controlled manually or digitally (DMX512). Standalone operation is also possible. Kreios PAR luminaires feature special color modes for amber and warm white light and are available in three versions for indoor applications and two versions for outdoor applications with different beam angles.
