ams OSRAM and Eaglerise enter brand licensing agreement for OSRAM branded LED drivers

Premstaetten/Munich/Ji An, March 11, 2026 — ams OSRAM has entered with its OSRAM brand licensing program into a new partnership for general lighting components. Under the agreement, Eaglerise, a well-established Chinese company, is granted a license under the OSRAM brand for general lighting LED drivers  for the regions APAC and EMEA from March 1, 2026 onward. This is a further step to ensure the strong presence of the OSRAM brand in the general lighting space after the current brand licensing cooperation for LED drivers and other lighting components expires April 3, 2026 .

The OSRAM brand is widely recognized in the lighting industry, and Eaglerise brings long-standing experience and technical expertise in LED driver development. Listed at Shenzen Stock Exchange, Eaglerise is focused on energy and communication industries and is well known in the lighting industry as a reliable partner for electronic components. Eaglerise’s LED drivers under the OSRAM brand will be the flagship products of the company’s lighting business . This agreement supports the continued presence of the OSRAM brand for many years to come  in the professional lighting components segment that is closely associated with the brand and its history. These entirely new LED drivers may not be a direct replacement of the ones currently or previously brought to the market under the OSRAM brand.

About the OSRAM brand licensing program

In 2025, ams OSRAM launched a dedicated IP Offerings business to extend the OSRAM brand into additional product categories.
