ams AS6200_WL_EVM_AB Evaluation board
The AS6200 adapterboard is a simple PCB to enable an easy evaluation of the ams digital temperature sensor. The board features an AS6200 digital temperature sensor, a decoupling capacitor and pull-up resistors. The included jumper is an easy way of setting the I²C address of the sensor. A 5x1 pin header with a 2.54mm pitch offers all necessary interfaces to connect the adapterboard to your application processor.
ams AS6200_WL_DEM_SN Demonstrator kit
The AS6200 demo offers an easy-to-use exploration of the ams digital temperature sensor. It can be connected to your mobile device using a wireless interface. By downloading the companion app from the App Store or Google Play Store it is possible to modify all settings of the sensor and observe the impact on power consumption and conversion rate. All three demos could be paired up at the same time to find the optimal settings for your needs. It even enables to record a temperature sequence to compare it with different settings of the temperature sensor demo. Finally, the app does provide basic information about the product and helps to understand the principals of the alert mode.
The demo consists of an AS6200 temperature button and a CR2023 coin cell. By pulling the flap, the demo is enabled and ready to be paired with the app.

The AS6200C is a complete digital sensor system designed to fulfill the challenges of cold chain applications in storage and transportation. It is very well suited for data loggers complying with EN12830:1999 class 1 standard as well as enriching the performance of domestic and commercial refrigerators. The AS621x family is a complete digital sensor system, designed for the needs of various markets. It features 8 I²C addresses to serve complex design needs. ams AS6221 Temperature Sensor
The AS6221 is a high accurate digital temperature sensor with an accuracy of up to ±0.09°C, which is ideal for healthcare applications, wearables and devices requiring high-performance thermal information.
The AS6221, is a complete digital sensor system, requires no calibration or linearization. It provides measurement outputs via a standard I²C interface. The sensor supports eight I²C addresses avoiding bus conflicts in multi-sensor use cases.
The ultra-small size of the sensor (WLCSP 1.5 mm x 1.0 mm) enables accurate body/skin temperature measurements in very small health and lifestyle monitoring products.
In addition to the high accuracy and the small form factor, the AS6221 offers a very low power consumption, for example measuring with 4 samples/s, the current consumption is only 6 µA. The sensor has 4 different automatic acquisition modes and keeps the high accuracy over the full supply range from 1.71 to 3.6 V.
An integrated alert functionality triggers an interrupt to the micro controller when a temperature threshold is exceeded. The temperature threshold for the alert function can be adjusted in a device register.The AS6221 production test setup is calibrated according NIST and the verification equipment is calibrated by an ISO/IEC-17025 accredited laboratory.
