ams AS5510 Linear Position Sensor

The USB Interface & Programmer Box is an universal evaluation tool for magnetic position sensors with I2C or SPI interface. It comes with a 10-way cable to connect to a supported product on an existing board. The I2C or SPI wires are used for the communication (3.3V mode) and additionally the sensor can be powered from the USB I&P Box. By using the USB I&P Box Software, it is possible to read out the sensor data, write a configuration and to permanently program a configuration. The AS5510 Demo Kit allows you an easy-to-use evaluation of the principle function of the AS5510 linear incremental magnetic position sensor without additional hardware and software effort. This kit consists of a reference magnet with its holder and an LCD display. It is suitable for mechanical and hardware reference design. The AS5510 Demo Kit is used in standalone mode through LCD display, powered by the USB port or 9V battery in order to be able evaluating all the functionalities of the AS5510 magnetic position sensor.

With the AS5510-SOIC8 Adapter Board it is possible to get an easy evaluation possibility of the AS5510 linear incremental magnetic position sensor in SOIC8 package. This breakout board is fitting to any I²C bus system. Power up the board (2.5V to 3.6V supply), and you can immediately start measuring the magnetic field passing through the position sensor. The position of a simple 2-pole magnet moving horizontally over the IC can be easily determined. This small evaluation board is fully assembled with AS5510 position sensor in SOIC8 package and its necessary external components. You can easily integrate the AS5510-SOIC8 Adapter Board to your own application by using the single row 4-pin header, where an easy access is possible.

The AS5510-WLCSP Adapter Board allows an easy and fast evaluation of the AS5510 linear incremental magnetic position sensor in WLCSP package, in your own system design. This breakout board attaches to any I²C bus system. Power up the board (2.5V to 3.6V supply), and you can immediately start measuring the magnetic field passing through the position sensor. The position of a simple 2-pole magnet moving horizontally over the IC can be easily determined. This small factor board is fully assembled with AS5510 position sensor in WLCSP package and its necessary external components. All relevant signals are available on a single-row 2.54mm 4-pin header footprint and can be easily wired to your own application.
